Vic Kids Eat Well
provides clear, simple and achievable steps to making healthy food and drink

Vic Kids Eat Well is supported by the Victorian Government, and is delivered by Cancer Council Victoria’s Achievement Program, in partnership with Nutrition Australia’s Healthy Eating Advisory Service.

The Achievement Program is a free program supported by the Victorian Government and delivered by Cancer Council Victoria. It aims to create healthier environments for working and learning by providing a framework for protecting and promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace, early childhood service and school settings.achievementprogram.health.vic.gov.au
Any business, company, organisation, early childhood service or school can register for the Achievement program through the website.
By registering, you will gain access to the online portal and be assigned an Achievement Program support officer who will assist you in meeting benchmarks within each of the health priority areas.
The healthy workplaces program contains five health priority areas: Healthy Eating, Physical Activity, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Smoking and Alcohol, and Other Drugs.
The early childhood service and school program involve six health priority areas: Healthy Eating and Oral Health, Physical Activity and Movement, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Sun Protection, Safe Environments and Tobacco, Alcohol and Other Drugs.
Within each program, the benchmarks guide the organisation/services healthy changes through the physical environment, policies, practices, and culture. By working through the process, you are not only gaining recognition for being a health-promoting environment, but you are supporting the health of those who interact in your organisation.
